Upper Village of East Derry Historic Property - 03/27/10 02:17 PM

The other day one of the Realtors in my firm hosted a Brokers Open House at an antique 1810 home. It was located in the Historical Upper Village district of East Derry, New Hampshire.  Reading about the extensive renovations the current homeowner has performed I was somewhat intriged to see the finished project. Plus it was a nice Spring day and Pasta was on the menu.
Now I'm not really into antique homes, however in New Hampshire they become part of the norm. That and horse properties.   Each have there own character and charm and they all have some … (2 comments)

Health Care Reform Bill - 03/23/10 11:19 AM
The Health Care Reform Bill was signed today, I've heard all the talk, debates etc. on the subject.  I'm willing to give the plan a shot, from what I understand!!!!!  I don't understand all the negative ranting going on.  Maybe its the delivery that turns me off. I do believe its a major change that we'll all endure some pains from.

Am I out of touch,somewhere?

It's almost April, get rid of the Christmas decoratons. - 03/22/10 11:17 PM
I like following the holidays like everyone else. Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving. My children even think I put them up too early, but come on. It's almost April, take the Christmas decorations down.  They're no longer attractive, some never were. The winter wind ,snow and ice was rough on the. Take them down.. Your neighbors will thank you.  Besides it clashes with my Easter.

Buyers on loose or is it a Moose. - 03/08/10 08:49 PM
Like the Moose more buyers are out on the loose.
I was watching this YouTube video today about one of our biggest tourist attractions in New Hampshire. It wasn't on the incredible skiing, the scenic rivers and streams or the fine museums and outlet shoppes.
It was on a Loose Moose. Bullwinkle's great-great-great grandchild.
Watching it I was reminded of some of the homebuyers I've worked with in the past.   They come out of the woods and sniff around. You check them out, they do the same, with caution.  You try and be helpful, you may get disrespected perhaps teased. … (7 comments)

I'm not a hoarder, I just have alot of stuff! - 03/06/10 10:46 PM
I'm not a hoarder, I just have alot of stuff!  Hoarding can be viewed in many different ways. As I look around my house I see alot of stuff. Cool stuff, old stuff , new stuff and some weird stuff.  But its not junk. That would make me a Hoarder. Lets move on to my garage. Large, oversized 2 car capacity plus a 2nd floor.  Alot of storage space.  Great to store unused or seasonal stuff, that I don't store in my basement. But I'm not a hoarder I have alot of stuff.
Now several years ago, for safety and health … (9 comments)
