The NAR Housing Statistics...published 11/5/2010 reported that pending homes sales have slipped but a modest recovery is expected in 2011. Thats positive news, folks. NATIONALLY: pending sales were down 1.8% in September.....24.9% below the September 2009 surge(initial deadline for the federal tax credit). NORTHEAST: pending sales were down 1.7% ....28.3% down from last September. THE GOOD NEWS! Exisitng homes sales are forcasted to gradually rise from 4.8 million this year to 5.1 million in 2011. Housing stats excepted to rise from 598,000 this year to 716,000 in 2011. We're already seeing signs of movement in the land sales. 30 million (8 comments)
