This article just came out in the Daytona News Journal. I am glad to see that the media is finally starting to properly report market statistics instead of fear mongering on our current real estate conditions. The reality is that this part of Florida, although hit hard by the recent downturn in the real estate market...is still a little gem of paradise and a great place to live. Afterall...who want's to be sitting in Ohio, Illinois, New York, New Jersey or any other freezing cold state in the winter? I am glad to see that our own … (5 comments)

Looks like a loss in Merritt Island, Florida will be a gain for Palm Coast, Florida. The following article was put out by the Daytona Beach News Journal on March 20th, 2008. "Brunswick Corp., parent company of Sea Ray Boats, has announced plans to close one of its Merritt Island facilities and eliminate 350 jobs. About 140 of those jobs could be moved to the company's Flagler County manufacturing facility, said Dan Kubera, Brunswick director of media relations and corporate communications." read full article here So, Merritt Island REALTORS, put on your detective hats to track these folks down to get their houses listed. … (3 comments)
