After my 10th year in the real estate sales industry I have had to move my license and hopefully for the last time. Our former employer, 1st Choice Realty Services sold out to Prudential Tropical Realty.
Gail and I were courted by six different brokers that wanted us to come and work for their company's and after all of the interviews and much thought, we went with the best company that would enable us to achieve our personal and company wide goals for 2008.

How I started in Real Estate - 02/10/08 11:15 AM
I was born in Pasco County Florida in November of 1974 at Community Hospital in the City of New Port Richey. I jokingly claim that I started in Real Estate in 1979 at the age of 4; because that was the year my mother/partner Gail McKay started selling Real Estate here in Pasco.
The truth be told, I was more like 6 or 7 before my sister and I were recruited to hand out flyers with our mother in our neighborhood Lakeside Woodlands, in lieu of a Pizza Party. (Not that I would recommend this practice in this day and age) … (0 comments)

Amendment 1, Will be worth it for Floridians - 02/04/08 10:14 AM
Now that Amendment 1 has been passed Florida counties are crying poor mouth with hugely exagerate short falls that will effect county spending for years to come. And the question most Floridians are asking, Is it really worth it to save a couple of dollars a year? I guess it all depends on who you ask.
If you ask the average state worker they will tell you how hard it will be to trim the fat and have enough money to run this great state we call home. If you ask me it is more about their future pay raises or the lack … (0 comments)
