The City of Gaithersburg and the Kentlands Community Foundation announce the 9th Annual Young Artist Award, a juried competition culminating in a concert for the top prize winners. The Young Artist Award provides young instrumental, piano and vocal musicians with an enriching artistic experience. The following are the general guidelines of the Young Artist Award:
Open to vocal and instrumental (woodwind, brass, string, guitar, piano) soloists between the ages of 12-18 years. Applicants must be at least 12 years old but no more than 18 years old by December 31, 2011.

FHA 203(k) Rehabilitation Financing
1. May be used for the owner occupant purchase of lender owned foreclosures or short sale pre-foreclosures that have deferred maintenance, repair or renovation needs.
2. May be use to fix up and refinance the current residence.
3. Can be used on conforming or jumbo FHA mortgage loans.
4. The cost of renovation can be included in the FHA mortgage loan.
Funding can be used for the following:
1. Structural alterations and reconstruction.
2. Kitchen or bathroom renovations or finishing a basement.

Approved FHA 203(k) loan settlement and disbursement
After final approval by the mortgage underwriter, the closing package is sent to the settlement attorney/title agency. At the closing table, the seller is paid their portion of the funds and the remaining renovation money is placed in an escrow account.
A rehab account is created and funds are disbursed as work is completed and inspected

Orange enough for you, Rob?
Bristol, TN/VA real estate professional and ActiveRain blogger Rob Thomas always loves orange flowers and he comments on my flower pictures almost every day. I noticed that he just passed the 300,000 points level and should get a bit of special recognition for the fine job that he does in promoting real estate in the Bristol market.
