The current exhibit in the Conservatory at Longwood Gardens is Orchid Extravaganza. This is an outstanding show and well worth the trip. You'll be surrounded by thousands of beautiful flowers and plants and will want to spend hours capturing the colors with your camera.

Tonight is to be the coldest night of the winter so far in Maryland.  As we seek the colors of the changing season, sometimes we find the striking beauty of declining life. Hopefully, we will conclude that beauty is never lost but does constantly change.
Have your camera in hand when you walk through your community.
