Out of state home selling - it ain't easy! - 06/01/10 08:18 AM
Recently, I was contacted by a homeowner, currently living in the Mid-west, with a home here in the DC/MD area. She and her family had moved out of the area for job relocation and because things happened so fast, the family ended up stuck with trying to sell their former home from another location. I learned through my own personal experience, it is hard to maintain a house from another location, much less sell it. I thought I would share a few pearls of wisdom for those who find themselves in a similiar situation.
