i love nj: Brick Township NJ Fireworks Schedule, SUMMERFEST 2009 - 06/25/09 09:29 AM

Brick Township SUMMERFEST Windward Beach
Summer fest is just 1 week away and continues on till September 3rd. There are three opportunities to view fireworks at Windward beach this year, July 2nd, July 23rd And September 3rd.
As you can see below, most of "Summerfest" takes place at Windward beach. There are a few events that are at other township parks, noted below.
Fireworks can be viewed from in the park, but my favorite place to view them would be out on the Metedeconk River with friends and family on the boat. Mark your Calendars, and enjoy the summer!

Well, it is that time of year again! Seaside Heights begins its weekly fireworks show tonight
When: Wednesday Nights at 9:30pm from June 24th through Sept 2nd Where: Seaside Heights, NJ. The fireworks can be viewed from anywhere along the boardwalk Weather: Yes, the Fireworks are dependant on weather. So they may be cancelled for bad weather, this can include wind conditions that would make it dangerous as well as rain... If there is Rain the show will be Friday Lets hope this rain goes away and we have a gorgeous summer ahead of us!

This weekend is the 23rd Belmar Seafood Festival, in past years as many as 100,000 people have attended. I know I have been there in the past, it is a great time and a LOT of great food!

Summer is almost here, and Hopefully the rain will stop and the Sun will come out. For a brief moment today I actually saw the sun while looking out my office window, but it was still raining!

Attention NJ Boaters Time for your Saftey Class!

As of June 1, 2009 ALL NJ Boaters are required to have their Boating Safety Certification. Over the past several years the state has been phasing in its safety cert based on your birth date. This year is the last group that is required to get the Cert. The last Group: Boaters born prior to 1950 are required to get their certification.

Just when I thought there was not going to be any ice, and I would miss yet another year.... It all started Sunday Morning when Dave rang my door bell. He was headed to check the conditions, lost my cell number and was going to give me a call. It has been too warm the past few days, and 2 nights in a row that did not dip below freezing... but Saturday Night into Sunday we had temps around 10...
