What do I need to apply for a construction loan? In addition to the standard asset, liability, and employment documentation, you will need to provide plans, specifications, and a builder contract. If you are the General Contractor, we will need a cost breakdown plus any subcontractor's bids and fixed price contracts. Consider using a home equity loan to fund your construction or rehab project.
