You see for the past 3 hours I have been cursing you.
I could not connect to my home wirelss network.
I tried everything.
I eventually decided to start troubleshooting on the internet.
I had to use my blackberry as a tethered modem (I have sketchy cell service where I live so this took forever)
Then I realized I turned off my wireless card on my computer.
I switched the wireless card off.

Today I received a call on a yard sign.
The buyer wanted to view my property at 3570 Graham Sherron in Wake Forest.
I explained that the property was under contract but would be more than happy to show the property anyway.
(In this market there are soo many variables, why not?)
The buyers liked the home and would consider making an offer.
The moral of the story is you never know how a showing is going to go? You never know a home is sold until keys have been exchanged and the deed recorded?

Raleigh Real Estate - Focus on Google?
I have to admit I have a difficult time keeping up with all of portals I should be posting my Raleigh real estate listings and my NC real estate websites.
I am utterly confused by web 2.0.
I printed some reading material for the weekend to get caught up.
Today someone recommended picmyhouse.com, earlier this week I registered with facebook to post listings.
I post on my websites they syndicate to the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Trulia, Oodle,) isn't this enough?
I could spend 24 hours aday posting all of my properties to every possible Real Estate listing website.

I understand how hectic it can be showing properties.
I understand that emailing feedback within 24 hours can be impossible at times.
But don't we all have the time within 72 hours to provide feedback?
Buyers Agents -
Maybe you just don't understand the importance.

I am was a gmail user from day 1.
I remember getting the invitation and how I coveted the invitation probably 3 years ago.
Since then my contact list is contained in Gmail.
I store all of my files in Gmail.
I know utilize Google Calendar - Google Maps -Google Documents and now Google Presentation.
I guess you can tell I love Google and Gmail I am not sure the last time I used another search engine.
Today I registered for facebook.
While registering they uploaded all of my contacts from my Gmail account and found them on Facebook.
HOW COOL!

Get Motivated - Raleigh Seminar October 11th
Today I attended the Get Motivated seminar at the RBC center in Raleigh.
Estimates are that there were about 17,000 people in attendence.
I spent half the day at the seminar.
I loved Zig Ziglar - WOW
He is almost 80 years old
Has lost his short term memory
But he was very funny and uplifting.
Overall I am a positive, forward thinker, so for the most part I did not need a pep rally.
The number 1 lesson I have learned. It is important to remain true to your beliefs and standards.

The Home Builder's Association and BB&T supplied lunch from Panera Bread, 4 chartered buses to take REALTORS from home to home.
I was located on the Bronze Bus.
We started in Greyhawk Landing in Cary.
The home #286 in the Parade of Homes - 2091 Van Gogh Lane, Cary NC Had the best outdoor living area I have ever seen. This was my favorite home in Greyhawk Landing but my favorite room overall. This home was built by Youngquist Homes

Since starting my own Raleigh Real Estate business NC List for Less Realty Incorporated in mid August. I have been working harder than ever.
I start my day earlier than ever before (Up on the computer by 6:30) and have been consistantly working from Sun up till my head hits the pillow.
Last week my Manfriend invited me to the Outerbanks for the week. From Saturday to Saturday we were going to fish all week, relax and unwind.
Well I could not leave the Saturday - out of town clients.
I could not leave Sunday - out of town clients and Parade of Homes.

Showing Instructions - Raleigh Listings
This weekend I was showing properties in Bedford.
Bedford is located in North Raleigh off of Falls of Neuse North of 540. There are currently over 100 available homes. There are 30 homes that meet my clients criteria.
So Mr, Seller if it is a weekend and you want to sell your lovely home. You must make an exception to your 24 hour notice.
There is just tooo much inventory. Sellers must be flexible. Otherwise your home will sit on the market.
