community statistics: West Chester, PA: One of the 25 Best Affordable Suburbs to Live In - 12/21/06 05:46 PM
Recently (November 16, 2006) BusinessWeek.com named West Chester, PA (Where my office is located!) as one of the top 25 best affordable suburbs to live in. Good Schools, low crime, and proximity to the amenities of the big city (Philadelphia) all contibuted to the rankings. This is good news for home buyers, sellers and (0 comments)

Some interesting statistics about the borough: Population (year 2000): 10,299. Estimated population in July 2005: 10,046 (-2.5% change)Males: 4,752 (46.1%), Females: 5,547 (53.9%) Delaware County Zip code: 19023 Median resident age: 32.5 years Median household income: $30,938 (year 2000)Median house value: $51,300 (year 2000) How does this help me, you might ask?
