With the new Lakes Living Magazine published and out to the public I have been receiving a lot of phone calls from people who have seen it or received it in the mail.  So far the response has been fantastic.  I have really enjoyed working with all the people to make this magazine a reality, the advertisers, the president, even the printer.  It was great meeting so many people in the community and business owners all over the area. This evening I had the opportunity to join some friends who just put their new boat in the lake.  What a great start to summer.  We were one of two boats on Lake Mecosta.  The water was calm and perfectly clear, and the weather was perfect.  These friends of mine don't yet own a lake front home, they have been talking about it for quite a while.  But now with their new boat, they are ready to sell their home and begin to seriously search for a lake front.  The great thing for them is that this is a perfect time to … (0 comments)

What a beautiful weekend we had here in Canadian Lakes.  Finally some sun and warm weather.  Seems everyone was out doing yard work.  Spring is such a good mood season, the clouds are lifting and everyone starts venturing outdoors after a long, long winter.  Looks like every bit of ice on the lakes has finally melted, it is good to see the water sparkling again.  I can't wait to see some boats out there.
