19 years of interesting facts! I have been Meme'd!

Since I have only been here a couple weeks, when my boss Tom Braatz Meme'd me I had no idea what was going on. After talking to him and doing a little research I found out that it is a rather simple easy concept to pick up. So in the next couple paragraphs you'll find out some of the things you didnt know about me. Since im new I really haven't had the time to tell anyone about myself, but on the other hand I am only 19 so I haven't had many years to experience a lot of things. Anyway hear it goes.

From a young age (like 11 or 12) I ran my own business with my brother. Yes I actually had a business that young. My brother and I would go around the neighborhood and mow peoples lawns with our riding lawn mower. Now I know most every boy does this sometime in his life, but we took ours to another level. When we moved into our subdivision it was one of the featured sites for the parade of homes. My brother and I were in charge of the maintanence for the model homes. We would fertilize, cut, trim, and fix anything outdoors they needed. Now looking back I wonder how crazy it was that these builders were hiring these little kids to do there work and the weird thing also is we really weren't that cheap! It was a good job back then and since I was a kid I had no idea what taxes were so it was a cash business. Also in the winter we were in charge of snow removal on the driveway and sidewalks. At the best time we had 7 houses and maybe over 15 driveways to plow with a atv.

Next thing happened about two summers ago. I was having horrible stomach pains and I could not eat anything or sleep the pain was so bad. I went to the doctor once and they found nothing wrong and the pain grew worse. The next time I went to the doctor they figured out my appendix was acting up and I needed emergency surgery. I was admitted to the hospital and as I was being prepped for surgey, the doctor decided to take a cat scan of my stomach. Turn out if they had went through with the surgery I would be out an appendix(it was perfectly fine) and also diagnosis with Crohn's disease. Thankfully after about a week in the hospital and constant medication I am doing fine now without any problems so far.

The third and final thing I am going to tell you guys is that when I was younger I wanted to be a model(age 8-11?) I always wanted to be famous and have lots of money so this is how I decided I was to do it. I went to one of those modeling shows and I got pick and my parents payed for my headshots. Although all that happened for me was the whole thing turned out to be a scam. I was done with modeling for awhile the last picture I have taken can be seen on my business card which is my profile picture.

My name is Alex Zokan and I am a new member here at Active Rain.
