I'm starting to see a lot of Realtors using Youtube.com to present listings and for self promotion. I don't know how long Google will allow Youtube videos to rank high, but it is very easy to get ranked for something like Denver state just by putting up a video of yourself or clients. There are a few local realtors that are taking advantage of this and getting ranked pretty good for a simple video. The few I have seen have been testimonials and one self video commercial. All of the videos were low quality, but that can be fixed by using a professional or good video equipment.

If you are interested in putting a video up of a testimonial it's very easy and free to do.

Steps:

Create video on camcorder or camera (with video capture)
Edit video, add your logo and website address
Open a free Youtube account
Submit video and add all relevant keywords (Examples below)

When you submit your video, make sure you name it after the keyword you are going after. For example if you want people searching Denver real estate to find your testimonial/commercial, make sure the title of the video is something like "Denver Real Estate Agent - Testimonial". For your tags I would put in all of the important keywords like Realtor, home, real estate, property etc..

Last but no least, make sure you put your website in the description, so people can find you easy. After a few days your video will show up when you do a search on Youtube, and it should show up on Google in the coming months. It all depends on how popular the keywords are.

I have read that Google will more then likely stop giving Youtube such high rankings for popular search keywords, but in the meantime, you might as well take advantage.

Will We Get to Vote on Property Tax Reform in January?

Yes! On Monday October 29^th, the Florida Legislature passed a property relief package that will be on the January 29^th statewide ballot. The tax-cut package will include placing a 10% yearly assessment cap on non-homestead property and will allow homestead property owners to take their accrued Save Our Home benefits with them when they buy a new house. Good news for investment property owners or snowbirds and homeowners that want to move into larger homes but can't afford to because of the massive tax increase they might face. The plan will allow these homeowners to take up to $500,000 in their Save Our Homes savings with them when moving into a new homestead. The Senate's tax package will also double the $25,000 homestead exemption except for school taxes and give businesses a $25,000 tax break on tangible personal property.
