Free from fear of fear...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But are we willing to pay the price for such freedom and security?  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;But even more importantly... &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Do we even understand what that price is and what all is at stake?  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;People have the idea that if we just disengage, if we just pull away from the terrorist and leave them to their own devices (and agendas...) that they will be placated and stop all the random murdering and acts of violence.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;They will not. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That is the real lesson of Afghanistan that people are missing:  There is no compromise with Terrorism.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;So we have two choices:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We can have the resolution to resist or we can withdraw.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And if we withdraw...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;there will be consequences to the freedoms that we enjoy.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Terrorism can curtail our freedom &amp;ndash; even in this country. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. By the mere threat of violence and the fear that it engenders.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. By the internal turmoil in this country and the curtailing of our civil liberties in the name of security.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When there is a threat of violence: fear becomes the ultimate motivator to capitulate. But when our civil liberties are curtailed it means that security is more important than freedom. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;But is it?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you believe that it is: Then terrorism will have a say in your civil liberties -- even if you aren&amp;rsquo;t a terrorist.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Terrorism can make people turn inward and be destroyed.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, is all this worth the fighting and death of American soldiers? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That is a question that only the American People can decide.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Conflict has found us. We  are in it. The conflict will not go away...  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Even if we try to run from it.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No, the war on Terrorism isn't easily won. BUT (a very big but...) it is a war that we can lose.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Every generation must make their own decision:&lt;/strong&gt; Is freedom worth the pain and destruction of war?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What does this have to do with real estate?&lt;/strong&gt; Everything. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have so much to be thankful for, but I am most thankful for Bible Doctrine that is taught to me by my new pastor-teacher: Robert B. Thieme III. Despite the fact that they've jumped 'immediately' on them, and despite the fact that they've made &quot;good&quot; offers...they keep getting outbid. They keep losing their&amp;nbsp;&quot;dream home&quot;. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not just once...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not just twice, &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but several, several times.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Of course, the home buyer quickly becomes tired of the emotional roller coaster ride: all the&amp;nbsp;searching, deciding, preparing&amp;nbsp;the offer, waiting, waiting and waiting some more...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;and then being heartbrokern and completey crushed because their offers keep being rejected (again, and again again...).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yet, despite the constant setbacks, the home buyers continue to press on...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, they go online searching for &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.jessicahorton.com&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Henry County Real Estate&lt;/a&gt; and stumble across my path. &quot;Just great! Another dang real estate agent!&quot;, they think upon finding my site. However, the fact that I don't require my visitors to register in order to search thousands upon thousands of homes (updated daily) via the Georgia MLS is very appealing to them.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;They decide to stick around a bit (if only to find the catch...).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;And, they begin to search (again)...&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Quickly they discover: the market is filled with many &quot;great deals&quot; in McDonough, Stockbridge, Hampton, Locust Grove and the surrounding areas. We offered on it a few days later, but somebody beat us to it.&quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Me:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; &quot;If you don't mind me asking, what did you offer?&quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Buyer:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; &quot;We offered around $129,000! However, sometimes you are already getting the best deal possible and if you really, really, really want the house...don't try and steal the pens - just take the money and run!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;*I'm talking about looking at houses! If you don't have a sense of humor and realize that: please go read something else and find another agent to work with. You know the one: The&amp;nbsp;guy&amp;nbsp;that shows up every time you pump gas, go to the movies or have a hair appointment.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Always there...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Always watching...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Always waiting...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Always freaky! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Yeah...that one!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;So, we aren't clingy because it's just weird.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am happy to report that other agents may be reading the&amp;nbsp;manual on how to properly be a stalker that also sells houses, but we aren't buying that book. We don't have any use for it. However, we do practice what's called: &quot;Book End Selling&quot; at Jessica Horton &amp;amp; Associates.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What is &quot;Book End Selling&quot;?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;Book End Selling&quot; is realizing that today's information age home buyer (you) doesn't want to be smothered by a real estate agent 24 hours a day. Freely provide them with information on properties.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3.&amp;nbsp;Give them &lt;strong&gt;plenty of space&lt;/strong&gt; to go out and look (on their own if need be).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4.
