One of the constants in our life is change, how we respond to that change will make all the differences.

Put up your umbrella when it rains

Walking around in the sunshine with the umbrella up in case it rains is worrying about something that may or may not happen. It is also creates a total waste of energy.

We can't control the weather, but can control when we put our umbrella up.

If we're worrying and carrying those worries around with us it's feels like walking around carrying a fifty pound weight in both hands. It will wear us out.

We can't control what happens to us; but we can control how we respond to it and what we do about it.

Worrying will not resolve what happens to us it makes things worst.

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Rule number one

We don't win arguments with a customer, the only thing an argument does is widen the gap of resolution. It may make us feel good engaging in an argument with a customer, but in the long rune we come out the loser.

Once a customer becomes agitated it's very difficult to create a satisfied customer experience. We may resolve the issue but the customer is never truly happy and the likely hood of referrals or future business become non existent.

The best resolution to customer issues is to understand their needs and look for solutions. Be non conformational and be seen as a facilitator not a combatant.

The art of procrastination is putting off what can be done today until tomorrow. We know when know that when the sun comes up in the morning that tomorrow is another day away. So for a procrastinator tomorrow will never come, and what was put off today will never get done.

The procrastinator will die a slow death caused by dragging their feet and complicated by a case of postponement.

There are times that we will hear constructive criticism from caring people that has the potential to have a positive affect on our lives.

We will also hear criticism from negative people that would like to see us fail.

That criticism comes from people who small and narrow minded. They will spend their energy and days trying to make people feel bad about themselves. They criticize others in order to make themselves feel good.

Distance yourself from those who are narrow minded and negative. Their goal in life is not to become successful but to try to bring you down to their level negativity.
