http://activerain.com/blogs/marklewin en-us http://activerain.com/blogsview/894601/buyers-seem-to-be-gaining-interest <p>Just an observation, but it seems that there has been a marked increase in the number of inquiries about listings since the 1st of the year.&nbsp; Some of my homes in Melbourne, Viera, Rockledge and Mims have had more showings in the past 3 weeks then they did in the last 3 months of the year and 2 of them have gone under contract in the last month.<br /><br />It it the lower interest rates?&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />Is it the lowest&nbsp;real estate&nbsp;prices since 2003?&nbsp;<br />Is it the huge inventory of available homes to choose from?<br />Are people starting to believe that maybe the bottom has been reached or is at least in sight?<br />Is it a renewed confidence in the new president and administration?<br /><br />Who knows?&nbsp; Maybe it is a combination of all of the above.&nbsp; Let's just be cautiously optomistic and hope that it continues.&nbsp; There are a great many deals to be had, especially for cash buyers and 1st time home buyers.</p> Mark Lewin (REMAX Elite) Thu, 22 Jan 2009 12:05:03 -0600 http://activerain.com/blogsview/894601/buyers-seem-to-be-gaining-interest
