I cannot tell you how much I love to brag about my children's school. God has truly blessed our family since we have been attending Chandler Christian School.

Tomorrow evening is an event that we would love the community of Chandler to attend...dinner is being served of course there is a small fee, carnival games, a cake walk, craft center and a kids shop. What a GREAT family fun-filled evening!

I know, I know...I am a little late on posting this, but better late than never!

I love Holidays...I love Veteran's Day...Today, In Honoring the US Veterans, public recreation lands and national forests, will be waiving enterance fees for the day.

Now I think that is pretty cool! The Department of Interior is honoring the men and women who have served our nation.

Public Recreation Lands include those managed by National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and the Department of Agriculture.

What a great way to spend your day off!

I absolutely love this time of year, my husband not so much...but that is another story! J

Chandler, AZ is putting on its yearly... Howlin' Halloween Spooktacular! Now last year, it seems as though a majority of my neighbors went to the Spooktacular and had a blast.

You name it, characters, superheroes, ghosts, goblins, ghouls and the scariest of creatures made an appearance for this fun safe family evening! I hear that they are have arts & craft booths, food, games contests...and a whole lot more of fun stuff for the evening!

Friday night, October 30 - starts at 5:30pm - 8:30pm

Downtown Chandler Library Courtyard! Best of all the admission is so affordable for some Halloween fun...$2.00!

Chandler Region and Mercy Medical Centers with the support of the Maricopa County Department of Health are giving any adult over the age of 18 a free seasonal flu shot.

Saturday, October 31, 8-11am @ Chandler Gilbert Community College - Pecos campus - just off of Pecos Road in Chandler.

Trick or Treat...Town of Payson Festival

I absolutely love this time of year...fall is in the air, temperatures are cooler and my kiddo's get to play dress-up!

Now most of you know that we have a home in Payson, Payson is perfect! The reason I say perfect is because it is a quaint small town, with such a great vibe and to boot, it has the perfect weather...four seasons!

This year, Saturday, October 31^st Payson is having a Trunk or Treat Festival...Can you say FUN! The Town of Payson is closing off Main Street and what I like most is candy will be provided by the Town's Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. Talk about keeping your children safe!

Also the Payson High School has a Haunted House @ the Oxbow Saloon...I bet it's going to be SPOOKY Ooky with tons of scary surprises!

Starts at 6pm-9pm - just off of Main Street!

I am so excited, we are going this Thursday with some close friends. Since living in the desert, this is the kind of fun that makes you feel like Fall is actually in the air...:)

Hours:

Thursday - Sunday for entire month

Thursday & Sundays 10am to 9pm *

Friday and Saturdays 10am to 10pm

*Please note a road widening project will be taking place on Rittenhouse Road Thursdays and Fridays til 4pm. Rittenhouse is not closed, but slowed. Please be aware. The town is aware of the number of school buses that will be headed our way. And traffic officers will be stationed to keep the flow on the road timely and as necessary.

I love trying something new all the time…and I just had to share this, Starting September 4 (Labor Day weekend) Payson will be hosting on Main Street - First Friday - this is a year round free event featuring an art show, craft show, antique show, classic cars, music and food. Main Street is closed off the first Friday of every month for a fun filled pedestrian event.
