Which city will be next?!!

813 Casting and Departure Films are conducting a nationwide search for the new cast of characters who will be featured on the upcoming season of Flip This House!

Will it be your team?

FTH is looking for confident, charismatic, motivated and opinionated people who "flip" residential properties for a living.

FTH want real-estate adrenaline junkies who love the high risk, high reward nature of their jobs and who are devoted to doing a great job!

In the deluge of imformation I had to weed through today, I almost missed this one.

Owen Get’s Real, reported the details of Real Estate Web Rankings released by Hitwise:

“Sites that joined the Hitwise top-100 list in March include: eHBSR.com (95th), RealtyUSA.com (96th), Frontier.Cincinnati.com (97th), i-RealEstateAgents.com (98th) and RealEstateShows.com (100th).”

The stats on leading real estate web sites are compiled by Hitwise from a sample of 10 million U.S. Internet users. We’ve been watching our visits skyrocket for months now, but we had no idea the numbers might finally put us on the radar screen of the major metrics companies. We’re obviously proud.

More dead bloggers

I just learned that John Mudd, one of the very first real estate bloggers, died a few months ago as a result of complications from juvenile diabetes. John Mudd was a pioneer, who started his Tampa Bay’s Inside Real Estate Journal in 2003 when there were literally only a couple of such blogs. Since then he had been actively involved with issues of real estate blogging, lecturing, publishing articles and promoting the concept. He will be missed.

Another young blogger who passed away last week is Star of Sarcasmo’s Corner. RIP

Don't Let Ma Bell Monopolize the Internet

The AT&T and BellSouth merger would resurrect the Ma Bell monopoly that ruled communications for decades. But this new corporate behemoth would no longer control just phone calls. The new AT&T wants to become gatekeepers to all digital media -- television, telephone and Internet -- at the expense of the free and open Internet that so many Americans rely upon.

The merger is now in the hands of the FCC. They'll rubber stamp the deal unless the public speaks up.

We can't let the new AT&T jeopardize essential Internet freedoms. Tell the FCC to make Net Neutrality a permanent condition of the merger.
