In these tough economic times free classified advertising my be the only thing keeping a business alive.

Not all free advertising is good, some sites limit the number of ads a person or company can place. Some sites have all of their ads coming through RSS Feeds with no original content to bring in any organic traffic, some sites purchase all of their traffic.

Free advertising sometimes comes with a price, because ad content can be taken and new ad created by persons who do not have good intentions.

I have seen where free advertising has created turf wars between competitors who using a computer with a random IP changer flag all of their competitors ads.
