OPEN HOUSE SUNDAY As mentioned in today's N Y Times Real Estate section, open house's are not getting many visitors as compared to months ago. Well I am happy to say that last week at the open house I was having I did have visitors and we decided to do another on Sunday. While it may most likely be a hit or miss situation, as Realtors we need to continue our marketing efforts. Open house's is an item we have in our tool box and therefore we must use it.

Some may say it is a waste of time, does it makes the home owner happy? Put up some extra open house directional signs and balloons. Hey you never know, today may be the day the buyer stops in or you may just meet a couple of prospective customers who desire to sell their home and want to work with a professional like yourself.

Staten Island Open Houses

Now that the weather is getting nice every Realtor is running open houses every weekend. Are Staten Island Open Houses a benefit? I heard from some that they are getting plenty of potential buyers but is anyone buying? Others are coming back to their offices with long faces because they did even have one person stopping buy? What do you have to say? I feel the exposure is what is important and whether it's the signs, balloons, newspaper advertisements they are all part of our toolbox. Sometimes some work and others don't'. We still need to use them all to be a good Realtor. To all homeowners out there, are you trying to decide if a Realtor is the way to go to sell your home? Remember open houses is only one tool that the Realtor uses in selling your home. We have many more tools in our toolbox.

It's been a while since I have seen some you and I hope to be seeing you all more frequently. Kathy has gotten me up on the blog and while it all new to me I am a fast learner.
