Charlotte NC Real Estate Transfer Fee

I just wanted to remind everyone about the upcoming vote by our leaders here in Charlotte NC as to whether or not to approve a 1% Real Estate Transfer Fee to all transactions. I have received word that the city officials are bringing in county officials to help push this through.

This is the most obsurd thing I have heard of. I moved here from California to get away from this type of unrepresented taxation which is pure lunacy. Contact your representitives. Have your clients do the same.
