&lt;p&gt;-A tornado &lt;strong&gt;watch&lt;/strong&gt; will be issued if there is a chance of a tornado.&amp;nbsp; So if you hear sirens, or get that annoying storm alert&amp;nbsp;announcement&amp;nbsp;interupting your TV show,&amp;nbsp;poke your head outside and take a look.&amp;nbsp; Also, turn on a radio or TV for updates.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-If a tornado &lt;strong&gt;watch&lt;/strong&gt; is upgraded to a&amp;nbsp;tornado &lt;strong&gt;warning, &lt;/strong&gt;then a tornado has been spotted.&amp;nbsp; At this point, you can either 1)grab your camera like Tammy, or 2)Get to a safe place until the tornado has passed.&lt;/p&gt;

Even new steel has a high percentage of reused material and nearly all of it will be recycled after the building has been torn down. So it doesn't end up in a land fill.'&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;These homes were built during a time of rapid industrialization, so new innovations in architecture and design were occurring, evident by these homes.&amp;nbsp; Wood detailers spent a great deal of time adding their designs to a home, such as fish scale shingles, and ultimately adding character.&amp;nbsp; I think it adds a quirkiness or playfulness to a home.&amp;nbsp; Some argue that the extra detailing creates needless complexity.&amp;nbsp; I appreciate that each home was given a unique personality.&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;The House of Ways and Means Committee recently approved a bill that enables most first-time home buyers to receive a tax credit of up to $7,500 for the purchase of a home.&amp;nbsp; This tax credit will be available for owner occupied home purchases between 04/08/2008 and 04/01/2009.&amp;nbsp; There are income restrictions and it is important to note that the credit is effectively an interest free loan with a 15 year repayment term.&amp;nbsp; If the home is sold prior to the repayment period, the remaining balance will fall due.&amp;nbsp; This bill certainly gives a great leg up to people currently renting that want to own a home.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A similar bill, HR 3221, recenlty&amp;nbsp;passed by the full Senate.&amp;nbsp; This bill enables all&amp;nbsp;home buyers&amp;nbsp;to receive a $7,000 tax credit, over two years($3,500/yr), when they purchase a foreclosed property or a recently&amp;nbsp;built home (built prior to 09/01/2007).&amp;nbsp; The home must be&amp;nbsp;owner-occupied and there are no income limits.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Unlike the previously mentioned bill, this credit is not recaptured, unless the home is sold within two years of purchase or if the property is not used as a principal residence.&amp;nbsp; This is a fantastic incentive to home buyers, and a good way to diminish the higher than average inventory of foreclosures and newly built homes.&amp;nbsp; Aurora, Colorado in particular, has&amp;nbsp;many available deals in both categories of homes, if you know how to identify them.&amp;nbsp; Many foreclosures are in great shape, or need only minor TLC.&amp;nbsp; There are still opportunities to have immediate equity upon purchase, if you find the right opportunity.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;When I saw this home, I pulled over, as it had my immediate attention.&amp;nbsp; It may appear as there are two homes built very close to each other, but in fact, it is one structure.&amp;nbsp; The original structure is a Queen Anne style Victorian, built in 1907.&amp;nbsp; The modern style addition was added sometime after 2006.&amp;nbsp; The architect is seemingly comfortable with a marriage of the two styles and has made a bold statement to the surrounding neighbors and passer-by's.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A nearby neighbor told me she felt the home was not cohesive, and would benefit from a more balanced design.&amp;nbsp; She felt that adding a modern tower to the opposite side of the Victorian portion would be a good remedy.&amp;nbsp; Otherwise, this neighbor was intriqued by the design&amp;nbsp;concept.&amp;nbsp; What was the concept?&amp;nbsp; It may have been that the owner liked both styles and could not pick one.&amp;nbsp; Another idea is that the design is meant to&amp;nbsp;force people to accept that the two style are essentially&amp;nbsp;'one', and will both be part of their neighborhood in the future.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;What is your opinion?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;It is starting to become a common sight in many neighborhoods across the country &gt; the home that has been overgrown with weeds, bushes, trees, and the grass is either dead or out of control.&#160; The&#160;suburban bunny rabbit's dream!&#160; Of course, most of these lawns belong to the banks that obtained them through foreclosure.&#160;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I think we can agree that these lawns are not aesthetically pleasing, but furthermore, they may lessen the&#160;overall appeal of a neighborhood...scaring away potential buyer's.&#160;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Today I&#160;saw a sign on the garage doors of two homes&#160;in an area I was in today, near Saddlerock, in Aurora, Colorado.&#160; Below is&#160;a picture of the&#160;sign:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The sign essentially states&#160;that the owner&#160;of the property has&#160;15 days from the notice date to clear the lawn of weeds, or&#160;Arapahoe County will come and do it for them...and&#160;send them the bill.&#160; Haha!&#160; I applaud Arapahoe County for taking this proactive approach.&#160; This does not solve&#160;bush and tree problems, but it is a good start.&#160;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you would like to file a complaint in Arapahoe County, you can do so if grass or weeds are 6&quot; tall or higher(one acre&#160;lot or less only).&#160; It is a violation of County Ordinance #88-2, and can be reported by calling 720-874-6711.&#160; Time for banks to get in the lawn care business!&lt;/p&gt;
