We are still working out where to put the files after they have been shredded but all in good time.

Here Ladybug and Baby are having creative differences over website design.

In her short time, (3mos. old) she is already an accomplished landscape designer!

She really gets into her work,

She just KNOWS where to trim plants in all the right places.

But as we all do, she has a silly side to her. She loves to Dance!

This spring I spent some time with a great couple from out of state looking for a good deal on a vacation home in Davenport, Florida.

After spending a day or two looking at repossessed homes, listening to the dead batteries beeping in the smoke alarms, viewing homes without air conditioning ( which I tell you, it gets very warm on the second floor), and viewing many pools that reminded me alot of a giant bowls of overcooked pea soup.

Some were just needing a good cleaning and paint, some needed new flooring, most needed appliances, some needed doors, toilet seats, outlet covers, pool pumps. The list goes on and on.

They decided on a 6 bedroom 4 bath pool home that needed someone to bring it back to life.

This vacation home needed a lot but my customers saw through mess in front of them to the bones and what this home could really be.

The new owners of the home have really put a lot of work into this beautiful vacation home in Davenport, Florida. They really are pleased with the end result.

I thought I would share a few photos of the job they have done. I didn't get a picture of the new kitchen but here are a few.

This weekend I have been speaking with a lot of different people about the November 23rd sales.

People waking at 3 am to go shopping, camping out in front of the department store for 2 days, standing in line in the wee hours of the morning in front of the closed store and even waiting over 2 hours in line to pay for thier purchase.

I went out one year on "black Friday" just to see what deals were really out there. Needless to say, I went to one store and them straight home. I am not a shopper. I have my list of items I would like to purchase before I get to the store and I hope to be out just as fast as I went in. Yes, I know, gasp, a female that doesn't like to shop! lol

I was just wondering what kind of deals people received this weekend. Inquiring minds would like to know. So, please share if you stayed home this weekend or went out shopping.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day of Thanksgiving with friends and family. My granddaughter had me tied around here little finger for most of the day.

My Babies

I as I sit here thinking of what to type, on one side of me is Baby laying all sprawled out and on the other is Einstien stretched out on the cool tile. Very content and relaxed.

I thought I would introduce you all to my furry friends.

This is Einstien. He is 10years old. He is a mixed pup, a german shepard and a Keeshound. He is very loving and protective of his "mom" not aggresively though. He just follows me very closely, even if I am mowing the yard. Just a little slower now that he is having problems with his joints.

This is Baby. She is 2 years old. Another mixed pup that we rescued from the human society when our other lab mix had to be put down. She is a lab and pit mix. She is very playful and full of energy. She loves when people! When we go for walks she tries so hard to get them to pet her but most walk away because they see that pit snout on her. The only problem I have with her is jumping up. Anyone have any suggestions on how to help me teach her to stop jumping up on people? When I try to scold her she just gives me the look like she is saying but moomm I am so cute. lol

I hope you enjoyed meeting my four legged kids.

Open house giggle

I had about a 2 hour lull today when no one had come into the open house. So I decided to just relax a bit by sitting on the patio and watching the birds fly by.

While I was there, I saw a car stopping and looking at homes that were for sale. I noticed they would be coming around to the front of the home I was in in just a few moments. I just happened to have a list of homes for sale in this neighborhood. So I ran out to the front of the home and waited for the car to come closer.

The gentleman's wife saw me and started giggling. When they pulled up next to me, I handed them the list of homes. He was very impressed and was laughing that I had run out to the street to bring it to him.

He then asked me for my card.........Doh! I had left them in the house. He waited patiently while I ran back inside. He thanked me and said he would be in touch. They were still smiling when they drove away. I am sure they will remember the crazy real estate agent that came running out to the street to meet them!

Just goes to show, you should always have your card somewhere on you at all times! ^_^

Hello Everyone,

First I would like to say how wonderful this website is! There is such a great group of people to share a wealth of information.

A little about myself. My husband and I have been married for 24 years. ( Althought he swears it's a lot longer lol ) I am a mother of 4 children and grandmother of 2 beautiful little girls. I see the bumper-sticker that says " If I had known grand children were so much fun, I would have had them first" It's so true!

I had been a professional Real Estate assistant for almost 4 years, and just recently went after my Real Estate license. I work in Central Florida around the Disney area, ie Kissimmee, Davenport, Clermont. Our business is primarily in vacation homes, new builds and resale. Also, I keep track of what comes available where I live near Lake Alfred, Winter Haven, Lakeland and Auburndale. This is my full time profession.

Anyone have tips for a "newbie" to Active Rain or to new licensee?
