Just met with John from Precision Ads and shared with him some ideas on how we can use his great new product to promote our listings or just send out some brand advertising. Family and freinds

Had the opportunity to spend time with family and special friends this weekend. Went to Smithfield and rode an ATV with my boyfriend. It was a beautiful day and a great reminder of the blessings we are given each day. The weather was beautiful and the people we met were friendly and having a good time.

We are in this business for our families and the many lives we are able to touch and make a difference. The people we run across in our every day lives are the ones that matter. If we meet one new person each day, and somehow make a difference in their lives, than we have fullfulled our mission. Sometimes all it takes is a smile or a kind gesture. I know those little things can change a challenging day and make it more bearable. So keep in mind why we do this business and the difference we truly make.

Enjoy the moment

As stressed out as this business can make us, we need to take some time and just seize the moment. I have the opportunity to do some ATVn out in Smithfield today and I am going to enjoy myself if it kills me!!! Living with our cell phones attached to our ear (or our bluetooth) is no way to live. Being available to our clients 24/7 is no way to run our business. This is a business and if we teach out clients to respect that, we will be able to manage our time much more effectively. Please don't forget to carve out a portion of your week to rejuvinate and de-stress. Your business will grow leaps and bounds when you are refreshed. Have a great weekend

Keeping Calm

I think as professionals, we all know that we just need to patiently wait this crisis out. But how do we convey that to our buyers? I have tried to counsel all my clients that first and foremost, please don't panic and make rash decisions without consulting thier financial advisor.

I know most of my friends and family feel that since I am a Realtor, I have some magical insight into the future. Don't I wish!!! But I think overall, common sense has to prevail and we need to keep our eyes open and listen to what the experts are saying. Buyers need to know that waiting is not going to make things better. The regrets they will feel by not buying while the rates are low and prices are leveling out will be conveyed to us as disappointment that WE somehow didn't make this decision for them. We need to show them that even if the sales price drops a little more that a higher interest rate will make their payment even higher.

This too shall pass!

Fruit flies

Help!!! My home is being invaded by fruit flies!!! Does anyone have suggestions on how to get rid of them? There is no food that is laying around for them to feed on. Help!!!
