Our contribution to Project Blogger is helping Michael Daly use his Hamptons Real Estate Blog to satisfy his particular needs (expressed to us during pre-school)—primarily to build his brand and his brokerage business.

Zillow's Rich Barton Says Make Me Move, Please - 04/07/07 01:49 AM

Zillow Co-Founder Richard Barton may be the famous Expedia maven, but just like many of us, he’s having a tough time selling his Seattle home. It is currently listed for sale on Zillow at $2.85 million. Here are the stats: 4 beds, 2.25 baths*, 3,740 square feet, DOZ (Days on Zillow): 85. DOM: 290.
* Mr. Barton corrected his baths to 3.5, yet Zillow does not reflect that truth in the description (I guess even the owner can’t mess with the “policy”) The following information was provided by a Deep Throat.

Zillow Goes Fishing - 04/04/07 07:02 PM

Is Zillow using our homes as bait?
First, they publicly displayed your home and put their zestimate price tag on it (and did not let you remove it, even if your sale price was much higher and the zestimate was cockeyed). Now they will allow ANYONE to claim a home is for sale without the homeowner or listing agent's permission.
How to Get a Zillow Exclusive Your Profile on a Home That’s Not For Sale—Just say it is.
