You probably didn’t notice but I have been away from Active Rain for 10 days while on a Motorcycle trip to Colorado with my brother. 3200 miles and an avalanche of gorgeous scenery made it trip of a lifetime.

Month of May 2011 – Sales of high end homes continues to be a challenge. The high water mark price of $385,000 this month is 19% behind one year ago. Entry level homes showed strength with an 8% increase vs. proper year. Both the average and median prices were down 3% & 2% respectively.  Sales volume of 29 homes was 9% lower than last year.
