trees: How not to prune large trees - 07/05/09 09:34 PM
I've always been a fan of trees, and the bigger the better. That could be one of the reasons why I got a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Texas A&M University.
One of the other reasons is because my wise old grandmother taught me how to care for trees (14 comments)
trees: SST (Speechless Sunday with Text): The majestic and beautiful eucalyptus (slide show) - 07/05/09 11:10 AM
The mighty eucalyptus tree is not indigenous to Southern California, but it has naturalized itself due to the wonderful weather we have here which is very similar to the weather in its native Australia.
I never knew about these trees until I moved to San Diego, but I'm always fascinated (6 comments)

trees: Plants, plants, plants - 03/14/07 06:20 AM
Forty-two years ago now, my wise ol' grandmother introduced me to cactus and succulents. The rest, as they say, is history.
I've taken that interest and developed it into a passion for landscaping, a passion that complements nicely my passion for real estate and my career as a property inspector.
