February 25 and 26 (Monday and Tuesday) Hidden Valley will host the Special Olympics Alpine competitions. They are offering a special day session ski ticket for $10 to support the athletes. Come cheer them on and enjoy the fresh snow!!
Of interest is the care and attention that the Bunchner group has shown with this long attending retuning group. People involved have shared that they were assigned a contact person who actually attended their meetings, asked what they needed, and opened up a whole new working relationship. For anything that has a sales record it's all about supply and demand! Jan for the Seven Springs resale market tells a different tale. New listings were up from 7 in Jan 07 to 10 with days on market increasing. Recorded resales showed a decline from 7 in 07 to 3 this Jan. Where new construction recordings were dead even at three each year.  
The second half of the year can quickly rev up the market as that's historically when we see the most amount of sales at both resorts. So if the year starts out a little slow we're not … (1 comments)

For anything that has a sales record it's all about supply and demand! Jan started the year off with a bang for the Hidden Valley Market! New listings taken for the month were 8 compared to 12 for Jan 07 (that's your supply side)! Where the recorded sales were up to a whopping 15 from 4 in Jan 07!  What a new resort owner can do for a market!
This sure seems to set the pace for an awesome year ahead! Look for prices to continue to climb "IF" the supply and demand numbers continue to show this pattern!!

Seven Springs, PA Condo Fire - 02/06/08 02:46 PM
Fires are always tragic but even more so when lives are lost. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Jonathan Murt and Sasha Zuro. Their lives were cut short in a building fire in the SunRidge community this past Sunday. Wallace Miller, the Somerset County Coroner concluded that both died from smoke inhalation.
