There is currently a 4 month supply of inventory in Silver Lake at this time. Dawn's observation: Very few homes are available at any given time in Silver Lake. It is a very exclusive community. Some are much larger than others - prices are down somewhat, but averages don't really give the true picture of what is happening in Silver Lake since there are so few sales.

If you haven't met David Childress, you should do so. He is a loyal, persistent and funny guy who happens to be a REALTOR(R). I personally think he should join my brokerage, but that's another story... David takes the time to encourage others when they are down. He nudges them to take action when they could gain by doing so - even if they are his competitors. He provides a smile or a belly laugh, depending on the situation. I am looking for wording for specialty sign toppers - I want to let people know they can text me to get info about a listing. The obvious choice: Text Me! It's direct, soooo very to the point, and seems safe enough. No double entendres. A little on the Captain Obvious side, not really clever...any other way to say this or get the point across without being hokey? If I don't have any epiphanies, Text Me! is it for my new sign topper.

Tonight I showed a home with no first floor bathroom...an otherwise perfect home for my buyers. A darling little brick cape, manicured lawn, finished basement, perfectly staged, great location, excellent price and clean as a whistle! It was like being in a funhouse - we loved everything, and suddenly my client said, "Wait - where's the bathroom?" The house does have two bathrooms - one up and one in the basement...it appears that maybe they expanded the kitchen by removing the bathroom on the main level. This nixed the house for them. more cat pictures We went past a house that had a LOT of cats on the porch. So many that the kids noticed it and said ewwww...two times a week we passed it, and always, many kitties. Never saw any humans. The sign in front of the house said For Rent, but it didn't look abandoned, just tired. I didn't call anyone to check it out - the cats look sleek and healthy (from the street) and who am I to say how many cats are too many??? No one lived nearby in the farm area where the house is...maybe the (2 comments)
The Steeplechase The Steeplechase is one development which has lived up to its potential. Here are some not-so-obvious reasons why: The 153 properties are well maintained and manicured. The trees, which are quite a status symbol in suburban settings, are tall and healthy. Our pear-tree lined streets are one of the jaw-dropping sights in spring. This year's show was superb! Check it out! There is only one way in and out of The Steeplechase, so it is a very peaceful setting. We aren't directly in the flight (2 comments)

My sellers in Hudson are elated! This is still a good time to buy a home in Summit County, and we still have a very stable market. If you need to buy, you will have a good supply of homes to choose from, low interest rates and the best prices we have seen for years. Don't wait and miss your best opportunity in years! Made me think...I love blogging, I love real estate, I love helping people...but spending too much time searching for houses, generating reports, emails, blogs, yada, yada, yada... Suddenly I realize - I am missing life!! Or at least a chunk of it. Or merely living vicariously...should I mention the addiction word that is thrown out so freely about bloggers and computer afficionados???
