Buying a house can be a challenge in today's market. Source Capital can help!
I have shared in my blog before about the increase in home purchasing being done by real estate investors. Now I’m going to add vacant lots to the equation. Although, we could have assumed this, it always seems to make facts more real when specific reports are made. Below is a link to an article citing one such instance. An investment group, which includes a local homebuilder, just purchased 41 residential lots in a gated community in Rancho Sante Fe, a beautiful and prestigious area of San Diego County.

San Diego County has so much to offer! If only there were more homes for sale!

I know a very nice couple that is desperately trying to buy a house in San Diego County. They are San Diego natives and qualified buyers, ready to spend! The problem? Low inventory and all cash buyers!
The first issue they have run up against is lack of suitable homes. They are having a hard time finding property in their area of choice that meets their needs. Then, once they find something they like, they are often shut out of deals. Sometimes … (0 comments)

bad credit loan: An Increase in Buyers is Changing the Real Estate Market - 1.20.2012 - 01/20/13 01:23 PM

Buying patterns impact any market.
As I have posted in previous blogs, the real estate market looks different from last year. In most cases, healthier. Today I found a Union Tribune San Diego article that further confirms this sentiment. The article includes one report of their being twice as many buyers this month, than in January of last year.
Regardless of the industry, it always comes down to supply and demand. The number of buyers and their activity level determine the price and the health of a particular market.

bad credit loan: Malibu, California's Luxury Real Estate Market Improved - 12.29.2012 - 12/29/12 10:21 AM

The beauty that is Malibu, California.
2012 has provided many signs of improvement in our economy and the United States’ real estate market. One seems to effect and reflect the status of the other. The price increase on properties in many areas indicates a decrease in supply, which as I have discussed previously is due not only to more sales, but also less foreclosures. Still remaining, is the demand of buyers wanting to purchase. The changing state of supply and demand is causing obvious changes in property prices.
The luxury real estate market in Malibu, California is one area … (0 comments)

Rock stars need a place to call home too.

Have you seen those sections of entertainment magazines that include photos of celebrities buying groceries, taking their kids to school and walking their dogs with statements confirming that they are just like us? Well, here’s another item to add to the list of how celebrities are like us non-celebrities. They buy and sell homes too!
Because of how they are portrayed in the media, sometimes we forget that celebrities are going through every day life happenings, similar to our experiences. Some mundane, some joyous and some stressful. Often their every … (0 comments)

bad credit loan: San Francisco Housing Sales and Prices Up From Last Year - 12.14.2012 - 12/14/12 06:11 AM

The San Francisco housing market is healthier this year!

We’ve been having cooler weather in San Diego this week. It has included overcast skies and rain. Not typical San Diego misting or light showers that last for a few minutes and are gone. Instead more thorough pours, as seen more typically in San Francisco and other areas of northern California.
As I have mentioned before in this blog, because of my preference of cooler weather, some have suggested I move to the Bay Area. I’m not sure if I ever will or not, but I do like the … (0 comments)

Flippers can turn this cute little house into a lucrative masterpiece!

Have you seen Bravo TV’s reality show, Flipping Out? Although the show focuses much of its attention on relationship conflicts and the show’s star Jeff Lewis’ love of sarcasm, it does shed some light on the world of flipping houses.
Those that purchase less than perfect homes and invest money into remodeling them to be sold at a profit, are often referred to as Flippers. They search for good deals on fixer upper dwellings and when the price is right, make their purchase. Then they improve … (1 comments)

Supply and demand influences every industry, including real estate.

The equation of supply and demand can be seen in all industries, including real estate. As I have been sharing, although still a buyer’s market, property prices are on the rise. Foreclosures are decreasing and more people are seeking to buy. Supply is diminishing. Demand in some areas may be maintaining while in others, it is growing.

I don’t think there is any one way to celebrate. There are different food preferences and traditions and those that may enjoy something different. I know a family that opted for pizza one year. That may seem odd to some of you, but like everything in life, there are many directions you can go.
