Changes in lending guidelines has made home buying challenging at times! Recently, we represented 1st time home buyers in the purchase of a property in Northwest Indiana that went to the Name Brand Bank that held their savings to try to get pre-approved (conventional loan). Next, they went to a mortgage-broker that approved them for a loan amount in a price range that was 1/2 of what they were looking for. Finally, they went to a Mortgage Banker who has a professional designation of CRMS. Recently we closed on a home in NW Indiana listed by F.C.Tucker 1st Team Real Estate.
