For the 30 days ending November 30, 2008 in the 3 nearest townships, there were 24 single family and twin homes that settled, a significantly lower number of sales than in years past for the month of November. The average discount off the original asking price declined to 89.3%, the first dip below 90% we have seen. This is still a healthy statistic compared to what other areas of the country are experiencing. Only 2 lower-priced homes sold for less than 80% of asking price.
