Negotiation Tactic #1: Expose the seller - 11/18/08 11:55 AM
Wow...Wow...Wow... I just read this comment... By Nicole Griffin Nov 18, 2008 8:26 AM | Link to this He wouldn't give me a good deal on his house so I had him deported. It was just part of the negotiations. Now maybe I can get a better deal on the Jimenez's house when the state auctions it off next month. I'm not really a bad person and don't feel that I did anything wrong or unusual. The Real Estate Bloggers wrote a post about a recent event in which a purchase and sale agreement was struck by Ms. Griffin and Mr. Jimenez (14 comments)
Go paperless...a new urgency - 11/17/08 12:40 PM
The ever growing impact of our economy seems to hit the newspapers everyday. Probably not a big surprise to people, but Oregon has one of the highest recycling rates across the country. Our big blue bins are jam packed with plastic, cans, paper, and cardboard. We recycle glass, batteries, oil...if you can recycle it, we do here in Oregon. Today, I was reading The Oregonian. An agent breaks into a house to show it to a buyer, (26 comments)

Catchy title huh...I worked really hard coming up with that one. Market Reports. Dry? Boring? Great reading for insomniacs? Well...Rich Jacobson loves them. Rich suggested in the comment of a post somewhere that we only post market reports on Active Rain because he loves them so much (okay I added this last part). ...he was joking for those of you that don't joke... But I just wanted to dedicate this market report to Rich. I just wanted to make sure he got his needed fix of market report data on Active Rain, at least for today. I'm sure other members can help (2 comments)
