   We are fortunate in this business....active participation gives us life lessons every day....and we had just such a day yesterday. We had the honor of listing a home that was an estate owned by 3 siblings.      Every May the US Post Office gives all of us the opportunity to Pay It Forward in our own communities and leave non perishable food items next to our mailboxes to be donated to the local food banks.   Saturday May 14th is the day this year to gather your donations and put them next to your mailbox.
        This year the need is greater than ever....and we need to respond to that need in a bigger way than ever before.  If everyone does just a little more....it will have a huge impact on the collection efforts of this food drive.

    Today we will celebrate Mom's day with a mini shopping marathan at Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall.  A trip a half hour south will take Mom to her favorite stores from her choice of a new outfit she may well find at

   Mother's Day, Birthday, Anniversaries ......we want to show our Mom's we remember them....and sometimes our Mom's are in the downsizing mode...one more something for the house, outfits the have enough of...gift certificate they may not use....does not really seem to answer your gift list need.     "My realtor friend told me/us that my/our house would sell for $X!!"       This is always a tearful response when we have given a CMA that can be 30, 40 or 50% below the "friend's price."   Friends.....to our minds....the realtor is NOT your friend...they told you what you wanted to hear...not what you had to hear....not the real truth about what the market had to say about the price of your home.  We sure understand why "your friend" would have more credability than someone you just met.  The other side of that coin is....why would we tell you....working on commission … (4 comments)

   Selling a house and looking forward to the new one is an adventure....and when you have triplets....just six months old...it is, as you might imagine (though I still cannot :) ) even MORE of an adventure !   Add to the what to move the baby sitter, packing time sandwiched in between diaper changers, feeding....oh yicks !
