choosing the positive: Cradle to Grave.. ..We All Get to Choose

I come from the "people behave the way you allow them to" school....cradle to grave. If every time an infant cries, they are picked up, rocked, cuddled...crying works. At that stage of life, it may be the only way to communicate pain, hunger, discomfort and parents learn distinctive cries quickly and how to respond to them. As we mature....or at least get older...we also learn what behavior "works" or does not...what we get when we put out positive or negative energy and how that smile or nasty remark can color our lives in whichever way we choose. This may be a series…it may not…forever is such a long time…and it would take forever to write about each person, event, thing that has influenced me “forever” .
