OK....Call us Packer Fans from birth..say it was genetic...we couldn't help it...we just cheer for the GREEN and GOLD... we freely admit ir...being a Packer Fan is a "Born in Wisconsin" kind of experience...we celebrate it with the clothes we wear during the season..with the games we attend in ALL kinds of spirit !

We feel extremely fortunate to have a careers we both LOVE....we always tell people...we think our real estate practice is like breathing....we do it all the hours we can stay awake ! There can be challenges of course...we have chosen to work in the niches of Divorce and Short Sales and those, understandably, bring a different dimension to our practice. Sometimes...it isn't "all about the money"....but ohhhh the satisfaction in knowing the service you provide because of the education and experience you have had, makes a big difference in someone's life...is soooo worth it !

Whether it is what you say....or how you say it...your attitude shows...today we got a new listing with a client...we will be working with their relocation company and enjoyed their "can do" attitude with being willing to do anything and everything to put their best house forward. They told us that they could tell that we LOVED what we do....and enjoyed our enthusiasm for the business and the custom marketing plan we prepared. A mutual admiration society...nothing better...we all approached the upcoming sale with the kind of enthusiasm that we know will propel the sale to the greatest of heights … (12 comments)

We enjoy entertaining....and do it often...informally in the dinette....formally in the dining room....and just for fun in the rec room ! The rec room may be the venue for a Packer Party...Superbowl Celebration...and every 4 years for a Red, White and Blue Party....We honor and respect the right for everyone to vote as they choose...whether or not that agrees with our political beliefs. We have done this for a long time....and enjoy it. positive attitude: Cradle to Grave.. ..We All Get to Choose

I come from the "people behave the way you allow them to" school....cradle to grave. If every time an infant cries, they are picked up, rocked, cuddled...crying works. At that stage of life, it may be the only way to communicate pain, hunger, discomfort and parents learn distinctive cries quickly and how to respond to them.
As we mature....or at least get older...we also learn what behavior "works" or does not...what we get when we put out positive or negative energy and how that smile or nasty remark can color our lives in whichever way we choose.

We were referred to a seller who was very distressed. She and her sister had inherited their parents home and had a brother living in it for a while. When the brother went to an assisted living facility, they listed the home with a realtor who had gone to school with one of their daughters. The description said that the house was a “handy man’s special” and had foundation and every other kind of mechanical and structural issue….and was priced too high if all those things were true.

We had the great good fortune to be referred to a lender outside the area to list a property. It was a bit before the i's were dotted and t's crossed and the bank took possession of the property. The Banker...who will remain nameless...we know that is the way he would want it in such a publlic forum...and quite frankly...we aren't sharing the object of our affection with ANYONE !

I came from a family where manners were not optional....you curtsied when you were introduced...graduating to shaking hands when you got older...when you were not old enough to print, you drew pictures of the present you got for your birthday or Christmas and sent it to your Aunt, Grandma, Godmother...When you were invited to someone's home for dinner..you brought flowers, a homade something, candy....You wrote a note when you got home thanking the host and hostess for the meals.

A good friend of mine, sent me this video....and in addition to bringing a smile and a tear...it gave me cause to think.....The person who sent this to me and I have been friends for decades....we knew each other in what seems like another lifetime...I was single...now married...she was not retired....She had a cat...now there is a dog...she lived in a house, now in a condo...She is one political persuasion..I am another..We have different religious beliefs...There are lots of ways we are different. I got an e-mail from our pal and neighbor to the west....and AR Super Blogger, Tom Braatz the other day....he sent a note of congratulations for being a dedicated member of AR and reaching 100,000 points...oh yeah...sure enough...we are into 6 figures.
