They haven't paid the rent and now a U-Haul is backed up to the garage! - 12/22/08 08:54 PM
"My neighbors tell me that my Tenant's have a U-Haul backed up to the garage door and are packing up!" This is what I heard from the caller last Friday morning. The guy lives like many, many miles (and is now in the snow) and out of the blue he gets a friendly phone call from one of his neighbors here in San Antonio that kind of keeps a look out for his rental home. Of course, his Tenant hasn't returned any of his phone calls, has been late on the rent, hasn't included the agreed upon late fees and (10 comments)
Fed cuts rates~ A wonderful opportunity! - 12/16/08 04:40 PM
Oh, my gosh. I you haven't heard you will soon. I just read that the FED has cut the federal fund rates (the rate that banks charge each other)...which means that mortgage rates will soon be dropping also. If you have been in your house for a while and you have a good income and good credit score just NOW might be the opportunity to refinance that home loan that you might feel is looming over your head. Go ahead, pick up the phone and do something about it NOW. Need help with a service oriented (6 comments)
Now, is the time...the pricing is spectacular and the rates are even better - 12/16/08 04:20 PM
I recently helped a first time home buyer purchase a beautiful new home in Oak Run Subdivision in New Braunfels, Texas. This young couple had been saving for some time and were very excited that their new purchase was such a stately home in beautiful New Braunfels. I was so excited for them. Because actually they got a great deal. Being that the house was a new Perry Home, it was ready to move into! The deals are still out there. They got a great price from the Builder with some great incentives. They used the Builders' Lender and received (3 comments)

Burrr...in New Braunfels, Texas ~ - 12/10/08 11:50 AM
Burrr... It was a chilly morning here in New Braunfels, Texas... 35 degrees when I left to come to work. Yesterday the high was like in the late 70's early 80's (so warm in fact that I thought I had too many clothes on at lunch time!)....then the night came and the wind started whipping and then the rain came. I woke up this morning to find the first little bit of ice, snow droppings on my new deck.... just thought I would share. The funny part is that in South Texas you never know what your day will (9 comments)
Always think the positive ~ That this moment has prepared you for the next - 12/07/08 01:03 PM
It's a beautiful Sunday morning here in New Braunfels, Texas. The weather is crisp and cool and the sun is shining. I am happy to be alive and I am spending my morning listing to Sunday Morning Jazz and reading all of my favorite people on AR. When I come across Kathleen Manganello's post about being stood up! Read her post it's obvious that she is frustrated. I commented on her post and said: "Always think the positive: that this moment has prepared you for the next." After I wrote the words I thought of how true (11 comments)
The rest of this post is a major plug for the guy that built this beautiful thing! The work was done by Jason Svoboda who owns Lone Start Fence and Landscaping 210-421-6975. I couldn't of been happier (8 comments)
