kristin moran: Dave Liniger, co-founder of RE/MAX INTERNATIONAL is one Cool Real Estate Kat (in my book) ! - 01/11/10 03:44 PM
Dave Liniger, co-founder of RE/MAX INTERNATIONAL is one Cool Real Estate Kat (in my book) ! Last Wednesday some office mates and I drove to Houston to hear Dave Liniger speak. He came to Texas to be upclose and reach out to all RE/MAX Agents to inform us of what is coming for 2010! It was great to hear him speak. He's such a down to earth kind of guy and just says things like they are. I like that about him. He had done his research informing a room full of RE/MAX of Texas Agent what is to come (10 comments)

kristin moran: An office that plays together ~ works well together! - 08/08/09 07:13 PM
An office that plays together ~ works well together! How long have large corporations known this? Years upon years. You hear the stories of "bonding" adventures, classes, retreats and the such. It's no different in any other environment where there needs to be cohesiveness and teamwork. I didn't always see this "bonding", working as a team effort so much in my 22 years of real estate. I have been at offices where you were on your own (unless you worked on making relationships in your office) as well as the "cut throat" attitude. Every man for himself. When Kristin (27 comments)
Kristin Moran and I are so pleased to announce that Matt Stigliano has joined the RE/MAX ACCESS family. Matt was formerly with an EXIT office on the Northwest side of San Antonio and we actually met online through ACTIVE RAIN. It was this post that sparked the conversation. Matt has a strong online presence where he has been actively blogging through ACTIVE RAIN, AGENT GENIUS and is a huge proponent of TWITTER. Basically, the man is involved in learning, teaching and building relationships online. When I met Matt (9 comments)
kristin moran: Ahhhh, the power of Active Rain! ~ Thank you! - 07/21/09 06:59 AM
Ahhhh, the power of Active Rain! I have been learning the art of blogging since last August when my sister, Kristin Moran, basically told me that I needed to. Since that time I know that being active on Active Rain has garnished me with some nice listings, clients that are talking about my blog or prospects that decide that "I'm the one" based on the blog, BEFORE I even show up to their house! I am still NOT used to random people just starting up conversations with me out in public about certain topics that I might have written (19 comments)
Someone on my Facebook page posted a link to this article (isn't that where all good things come?). It's written by Juan Carlos Perez of IDG News Service and published by PC World. It's pretty interesting to read. For the full article, click here. Basically Facebook is noting how huge twitter has grown with users being able to make updates or tweats in real time. Facebook's problem that is that because of their privacy settings not all of the information is able to be shared. So, they are making some huge (8 comments)
kristin moran: When opportunity meets purpose. RE/MAX ACCESS in Garden Ridge, Texas ~ Our new baby! - 07/10/09 01:31 PM
When opportunity meets purpose. RE/MAX ACCESS in Garden Ridge, Texas ~ Has Arrrived Many months ago when Kristin Moran and I opened our own RE/MAX ACCESS office in Garden Ridge, Texas we noticed (as others did) that unfortunately advertisers were no longer advertising. You saw it everywhere, blank billboards, print ads were smaller or not as frequent and with that online grew even more. We saw that as an opportunity. Yes, an opportunity for us. We had been watching these billboards down our street on FM 2252 and all of a sudden they were blank. What happened to the advertisers I (13 comments)
And part 2 is here So, if you missed Part 1 & 2 it's above. Part 3 is the best part of all. This weeks lesson was about MANAGING MYSELF, NOT TIME. How many times have I walked around complaining that there is only one of me and not enough hours in the day? Too many to count! I'm sure you can relate. Well, as our Coach and Mentor Dane Bauerle walked us through this weeks lesson I could hear him saying again and (6 comments)
kristin moran: Matt Stigliano, Kristin Moran and Pat O'Brien all in the same room! An A/R sighting! - 06/19/09 06:07 PM
So, it all starts innocent enough. Our Board of REALTORS is hosting a Town Hall Meeting. Our office discussed attending together because the presentation was given by KGBTexas and the topic was Social Media. I was very curious to see just how involved our Board was and it's members! My group sits in the back and I notice one guy to my right very busy on his phone (okay...we are talking very busy, like he's having serious conversation) or as I found out later, very busy tweeting! Well, what do you know I recognize this guy...he's non (12 comments)

kristin moran: FACEBOOK URL's...Vanity or smart? You decide~ - 06/14/09 11:08 AM
So, this past Friday night we were all up late! At about 10:30 we started talking about it. What is it that I'm talking about? The new FACEBOOK personal URL's. I was so excited (geez, it's obvious that I didn't have BIG plans Friday night!) that they were going to implement the URL's cause I thought it was an easier way for people to find each other online. I've had a few instances were I went to go search for someone and I couldn't find them cause I didn't put their name is JUST as it's entered. Let's take my (3 comments)
