The annual WIN Woman's Symposium is an opportunity for members and selected exhibitors to promote their businesses or associations in a public forum. The 2009 event will be held on October 13th from 5pm-9pm at the HCA facility on US19N in Palm Harbor. Its goal is to improve the personal lives and businesses of all women. Attendance at the event is open to the public. It is $10 in advance, $15 at the door and all proceeds will go to The Haven and Women on the Way. Food and beverages are provided for no additional charge. In addition to the 65+ traditional vendor displays, there are 30 minute, non-promotional presentations of topics of keen interest to women made in classroom environments by WIN members. As several presentations go on in different rooms at the same time, attendees have many from which to choose.
Since the 1st Woman's Symposium in 2006, this event has proudly raised and donated over $16,000 to charities such as The North Pinellas Pregnancy Center, the Resource Center for Women and the Healthy Start Coalition of Pinellas County.
