Open House and no one shows up, do you tell your seller's or do you "tell a white lie?" - 09/14/08 05:38 PM
I spend hours doing open houses on the weekends, some are successful and some are not........... I feel bad when the seller's come home to find out how the open house went..... do I tell the truth, no one came? Or do I say, well I had a nice relaxing day, doing nothing.
Do you ever "add" names to your open house sign in sheet to make the list longer?
Do you think open houses are a waste of Time??

What do you recommend to your client when radon test comes out 5.0 level? Mitigation? Who pays? - 09/09/08 05:16 PM
I just sold a beach house in Misquamicut, RI, a nice year round home, 1200 square feet, finished basement, in ground pool, garage, 3 BR, just a few blocks from the beach. Radon's safe level is 4, this came out with average 5.0. Seller does not want to correct problem, buyer wants it corrected or a credit at closing. What is the normal cost to mitigate a radon reading?
My clients had other buyer's concessions from seller, are they getting "greedy" - seller gave credit for a faulty furnace, repaired faulty electrical work, repair worn stairs, my clients paying for mold … (1 comments)
