While I love The Fresh Market and Whole Foods, I REALLY love the fact Earth Fare has a mission "to eliminate childhood obesity through providing easy and affordable access to nutritious food for kids and families". And the Huntersville Earth Fare, located conveniently directly off of Gilead Rd offers every Thursday night from 4:00-8:00pm "kid's eat free" with the purchase of one adult meal. Talk about win win! My husband is super excited for a store's Grand Opening soon..... and let's just say, I'd never thought I'd see the day when he would be 'giddy' for a store's opening.... BUT this isn't a Pottery Barn or Nordstrom (two of my favorites lol) it's Cabela's. One of the best outdoor outfitters in the world. Cabela's which offers a plethora of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, will celebrate the official grand opening of its Fort Mill, S.C., store (right over the N.C. border from Charlotte) Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 9:45 am. There will be a week-long celebration to follow.

While over at a friend's house this past weekend, I noticed a beautiful iced bundt cake sitting among the other appetizers and snacks. I asked my girlfriend if she made it and she told me that it is her favorite cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes in Huntersville. She cut me a slice of the white chocolate raspberry cake and after one bite I was hooked! It was super moist and fresh tasting and the simple frosting was creamy and sugary but not overdone.
