Red Oak Texas is a small town 20 minutes South of downtown Dallas.  Previously a farm community it currently offers affordable housing with a country feel if that is what you like and we also have subdivsions if that is your choice.
It is true that as we drive down the road in the county which is just about 5 minutes from I35 we do see cows and homes on large parcels of land.  It is what I have become used to and is home.

Should You Stop Paying Your Mortgage? - 03/22/11 12:46 PM
It is unbelivable that a lender would tell a home owner to stop making their mortgage payment so they can try to qualify for a loan modification.
True story, a home owner has a major medical situation and calls their mortgage company to see about modifying their loan to reduce their monthly payment.  Mortgage company tells home owner to fall behind so they can apply for the modification.  Home owner skips payments, answers lenders calls, submits paperwork as requested.  Mortgage company posts home for foreclosure and as the date approaches is still telling the home owner things look good and they … (3 comments)
