We all receive emails that are well meaning. Some are inspirational, some funny and some are unsettling. This link was the latter. It was unsettling because there was an enormous amount of truth. The truth that sometimes you would like to avoid hearing.
It shakes you out of your little world of short sales and foreclosure's and puts you in the middle of the global reality. If you chose to stay in your zone, don't watch this. If you chose to venture out then click here.

"But I still want you to advertise my home in the magazines, you know The Books."  Sound familiar??
Scenario;you are at the listing presentation and you show the NAR statistics onInternet activity, your personal Internet activity, how their home will be viewed by millions of potential buyers and then you get that look.........followed by, "But you're not going to have at least one ad in those real estate magazines, you know The Books?" If you live in a smaller town or a rural area you maybe experiencing a similar lament. 
 At this time The Books are so thin that they are probably only 100-200 homes being advertised. Which … (7 comments)

Realtors Filing for Checks from BP - 06/08/10 08:17 AM
It has come to my attention that Realtors in the Gulf are filing for loss of income due to the oil spill. Their jobs are certainly compromised as this massive oil disaster lands on the beaches. Those sparkling white sands may become just a memory in the years ahead. Not to mention the number of homes that may go to short sale and foreclosure due to loss of income.
 Just as Florida and the Gulf were beginning to mend from the last three years we must prepare for what could happen. Let us all pray that we do not have Hurricane … (2 comments)
