Crunching the numbers, let's see which area of the Santa Clarita Valley, with respect to home sales, came out on top last month, May 2010.
As usual, Valencia, Ca had the most home sales @ 102.
Overall, there were 310 Santa Clarita home sales in May 2010.

Sometimes it's fun to take a peek at the fringe activity happening in the Santa Clarita Valley real estate market. Homes in Santa Clarita, with huge price tags (for Santa Clarita that is), are indeed still selling from time to time. May 2010 was no exception.
I took the 5 homes with the highest selling price tags on them, and posted them above, for you to see.

If we take a close look at the last 7 weeks of Santa Clarita home inventory numbers, we will see that the inventory is increasing at this point. These numbers come from the active homes for sale in Santa Clarita. We're not identifying and including homes that are on the Santa Clarita real estate market, but in escrow.

Santa Clarita Home Sales have increased 5 months in a row! SRAR just reported a few other positive numbers regarding the Santa Clarita real estate market. Sales of single family homes in Santa Clarita increased 23.6 percent higher than that of the tally in April. Also, May 2008 was the first month on record since June 207 that the tally of single family homes sold reached over the 200 mark. May became the 5th consecutive month of increasing sales of Santa Clarita single family homes.
