I know there are various attitudes towards Zestimates.  Some think they are too low, some think they are too high, and believe it or not, some of you actually think they are pretty close (and yes, I know what the rest of you think...). 
However, this post isn't to discuss accuracy (visit this post on Zestimate Accuracy if you'd like more on that).  This post is to announce that you can now publish a public comment about the Zestimate on each of your listings.

We got some encouraging news last week about March existing-home sales increasing almost 7% from their levels in February. Unfortunately, a deeper look at the numbers from the National Association of Realtors reveals that inventory of for-sale homes also increased. Despite the higher number of sales, more homes were added to the market in March than were sold. Figure 1 below shows the overall inventory of homes on the market.

Yammer: A Different Type Of Social Networking Tool - 04/21/10 09:17 AM
Today I wanted to talk about the social networking tool, Yammer (insert eye roll here and groan "another one...").  But wait, this one is different, it is a PRIVATE network that I think could be very powerful for local real estate offices.

3 Years Later... Active Rain Comes Back To The Windy City! - 04/12/10 05:43 PM
I remember the first time there was ever an Active Rain gathering in Chicago.  It was June 16th, 2007 and about 30 of us got together at Maggianos to celebrate Active Rain turning one.  See pictures here! 
Little did we know that we are just getting our blogging feet wet with something that would grow into one of the largest real estate professionals networks on the web.  It's funny to look back at some of my first posts.  I didn't have a clue about the power of blogging.

I am excited to announce that this March Zillow crossed the 10 Million unique monthly user mark, attracting 10.2 Million people!  This is great for us nationally, but what does it mean for you locally?
