In case you haven't heard, this Summer Inman News has been traveling around the country doing day long seminars called Agent ReBoot. They market it as "will equip agents with the latest in business development, technology and marketing skills to help them be more successful." This week is their nineth event out of twelve, and it's in Chicago!
Why am I so excited about this event in particular? First, it's in Chicago! Secondly, a local agent whose marketing strategies and business practices I really admire is speaking, Andrea Geller, broker associate for Sudler Sotheby's.

Unfortunately I wasn't abel to attend RE Bar Camp last week, I only heard fantastic things about it. Luckily this video was put together which covers some of the highlights from the day. It gives you a sneak peak into some of the fasinating conversations that happened. I loved how there wasn't an agenda until everyone got there and made one.
Mike Price just announced that they are planning another holding another REBarcamp in Houston Texas on Oct 22nd the day before the Houston Association of Realtors annual Trade Show, to be held at Reliant Stadium.

Last week Brad Inman opened Inman Connect with 5 points he felt Realtors needed to embrace to make a different in 2008. He stated that nationally real estate was down 18% year over year. What are we going to do to help move the trends in the right direction? These points are all Brad's and I tried to fill in around them the best I could remember. I think he is right on, again.
