nar: NAR's 2009 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers Report Released - 12/01/09 12:03 PM
Last week, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) released its 2009 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, an annual survey about the home buying and selling process. There were over 9,000 respondents from around the US. The report contains tons of detailed information on the demographics, behaviors, experience of consumers in the housing market and some very interesting FSBO data (116 pages worth!). The number of first-time buyers increased sharply last year to 47% from 41%.

Todd Carpenter! This was an incredibly smart position for NAR to get on the payroll and an even smarter hiring choice. Each year NAR puts out a report profiles the home buyers and sellers, comprised of responses from more than 10,000 consumers who recently purchased a home. The report is packed full of interesting information and worth reading, but it is long- want some cliff notes?

Going to NAR's convention in Vegas and want to learn how to use Excel? No problem, attend the class on how to use Excel.
Need to learn more about how to market luxury properties? No worries, there was a class on that too.
You hear a lot about this thing called Web 2.0 and want to know more about it? Take your pick from the three or four classes on this topic.
