For the second month in a row, Yahoo! Real Estate was the most trafficked real estate website according to Experian Hitwise.  In the real estate category, Hitwise combines real estate and rentals.
The top 10 sites, ranked according to traffic, were:
1.       Yahoo! Real Estate  - 5.87% market share
2.       Realtor.com  -  5.76%
3.       Zillow  - 4.4%
4.       Trulia  -  3.17%
5.       Rent.com  -  2.53%
6.       MSN Real Estate  -  2.38%
7.       ZipRealty  -  2.37%
8.       Homes.com  -  1.88%
9.       ApartmentGuide.com   -  1.47%
10.     Frontdoor.com  -  1.37%   (biggest mover, was 58th last month!)

Wasn't a lot of movement in the rankings this month, except for Coldwell Banker who shot up 10 spots in popularity from the previous month.

Walkscore is an incredible website for learning what individual neighborhoods have to offer within walking distance.  Personally, living in Chicago, it is very important to me because my husband and I only have one car and he takes it to work everyday, leaving me to get places either by foot or bike.  But my home has a walkscore of 91 (out of 100), so it isn't a problem. 
This weekend I was at a cook out of some friends who recently had a child.  This live in a condo in the hip neighborhood of Roscoe Village(their condo has a walkscore of 90).  … (18 comments)

I was recently on a panel to discuss Web 2.0 principles and an interesting discussion ensued regarding if it was actually necessary to have a website anymore as an Agent. 
What sparked the thought was talk around how expensive and labor intensive it can be to maintain optimum search engine ranking.  Another challenge was keeping the content on website fresh and relevant, especially when it is necessary to go through a web developer to update them.
