zillow mortgage marketplace: Don't Let Mortgage Deals Become a Showstopper - 08/17/09 03:44 PM
To minimize risk, many agents now require their buyers get pre-approved before they begin looking at homes. This is a smart tactic, since it's important for buyers to know right from the beginning how much they can afford to spend on a home. In addition, some sellers require buyers to get pre-approved just so they know that a lender has looked at their financial picture. On Active Rain, when we talk about Zillow, we spend a lot of time talking about real etate and Zestimates, but did you know that there is also a very popular, free mortgage section where Buyers can

zillow mortgage marketplace: Zillow Mortgage Marketplace Educational Video - 05/01/09 11:13 AM
Over the few weeks, you'll see a number of Zillow training videos come out. Recently we did one for Zillow Advice, and now I am happy to present one about Zillow Mortgage Marketplace. For Borrowers - You anonymously fill out a form that gets submitted to numerous Lenders in the marketplace. These Lenders provide you with a customized quote. Then you decide who you would like to reach out to and work with. For Lenders - There is a onetime fee of $25 to do a verification check on you (a third party keeps this money and handles the check). Once approved you can start quoting and hopefully generating

We have learned a lot about the mortgage industry, and now we are ready to learn even more. Today we are launching a new mortgage blog called Zillow Mortgage UnZipped! zillow mortgage marketplace: Zillow Mortgage Marketplace - Site Updates - 04/25/08 04:12 PM
If you are not familiar with the Zillow Mortgage Marketplace, Spencer just did a great recap of the program here. This is a great place to start learning about how to use the service. If you are a ZMM old-timer (being that it is all of 3 weeks old now), here are some highlights of things we have recently added to the site: 1) Zillow Mortgage Marketplace is now more transparent than ever. A week ago, we added functionality where users can search and view all of the annoymous quotes in the database. They can filter their search to quotes that were

zillow mortgage marketplace: Zillow Mortgage Marketplace - It's Working! Phones Are Ringing! - 04/03/08 01:06 PM
Unfortunately I was on a plane this morning which allowed Spencer to beat me to the punch on announcing the opening of Zillow Mortgage Marketplace today and coverage is already spreading like crazy in the RE Net. So instead of talking about HOW to use Zillow Mortgage Marketplace, I'll highlight a story of WHY you should. I just got this email from a Zillow co-worker: "My wife and I are refinancing. I submitted my request and within about 15 minutes I had received a few quotes. I chose to call someone at Countrywide in Edmunds. He mentioned that it has been
